Jacquard Pearl Ex is a safe,non-toxic, inert, powderedpigment that exhibits extremecolorfastness and stability.Ideal for interior and archival applications,it can be incorporated into any viscous medium,i.e. oil, acrylic, gouache, varnish, glazes, gels and clayor it may be spread dry on porous surfaces. Traditionalartist colors can be mixed with Pearl Ex Pigments forspecial effects. Pearl Ex creates a metallic look withoutbeing a metal. It will not tarnish or fade. It is lightfast,inert, with a neutral pH. The Pearl Ex particle is a flatplatelet with two surfaces, therefore it lays downbeautifully like a thin coating of metal. The differentparticle sizes produce different looks from a fine,smooth, pearly luster to a highly metallic sheen.
